Catalytic activity testing sadly could not happen, due to a technical error with the extraction fan. However, enough data was accumulated to continue on experimentation and lay the groundwork for a possible honors senior thesis, which is exactly what I plan on doing. My experience at the University of Glasgow was unforgettable, and further invigorated my passion for research. The staff and PhD students were greatly helpful, and I hope to one day work with them again. I would like to thank the UF International Center, Center for Undergraduate Research, Dr. Emma Gibson, and Ruby Morris, as well as the rest of the UoG Heterogeneous Catalysis Department. Pictured below is the completed reactor, the sum of my work, besides the solid catalyst products.
